 Bob Smith's Sketchbook
with notes by Kenneth Roy

Faces of the year...so far

This man has disappeared.
There are rumours that he is living
quietly under the Forth Bridge

This man claimed during a
TV election debate as recently
as April that, without a strong
government commanding an
overall majority, the British
economy would be paralysed

But as soon as he arrived in Downing Street with
his new best friend, he changed his mind

Here is his new best friend with
an old chap called Vince

This man was once secretary
of state for Scotland. That was
as long ago as early May. We've
had another two since then

This man was a key figure in the
Labour election campaign. He has
not been heard of since

Ditto

A few years ago this man
was a humble press officer
in the Cairngorms. Now he
is ordering Whitehall
departments to make
40% cuts in their spending

This man is building the world's greatest golf resort
and thinks Scotland's first minister is wonderful

This man is Scotland's first minister

This man is called Brian
