Steaming
ISLAY McLEOD'S SCOTLAND
Boat of Garten
The Strathspey Railway in the central Highlands runs between Aviemore, Boat of Garten and Broomhill. It revives the sights and sounds of the steam age, to say nothing of the smells. Recently, the railway hosted a Forties Weekend. Needless to say, I was there – looking faintly sepia.
