The following is a list of MSPs who claimed under the Edinburgh accommodation allowance in 2007-08 for mortgage interest (and related costs) or rent (and related costs) or hotel accommodation or, in a few cases, a mixture. The analysis was compiled by the Scottish Review from data supplied by the Scottish Parliament. When the word 'Rent' or 'Mortgage' is used, it should be understood that this may include, as well as the rent or mortgage interest, certain allowable related costs such as legal and conveyancing fees, removal expenses, council tax, telephone and utilities, common charges, and a TV licence.
