Using VPN for non-GamStop access — account safety?

Most non-GamStop operators allow UK access by default (they're not subject to GamStop enforcement). VPN should be unnecessary. But some operators have stricter geo-screening at withdrawal time — if your account has consistent UK access patterns but withdrawal IP shows a Romanian VPN, they may pause for fraud review.

Practical advice: don't use VPN on non-GamStop accounts. The operator IS happy to accept UK players; you're adding friction unnecessarily.

+1. The VPN question is mostly historical from when non-GamStop operators tried to look UK-friendly to evade enforcement. In 2026 the friction is removed — just use a UK IP.

Don't bother with a VPN at MadCasino or any of the bigger non-GamStop names — they don't geo-block UK IPs to begin with, and a VPN flag at KYC will get your withdrawal held longer than the wait was worth.
